Highly recommend trying this lovely restaurant out in Gateshead. I came with my dad for lunch and there lots of other people having their lunch so a great atmosphere.
The grilled meats were spot on for flavour and texture. And generous servings too. We got two different soups included which were gorgeous - an okra soup and a bean one. Lovely big salad with pickles included.
The interior is big and very tastefully done out. Enough space between tables and I imagine it would look very nice at night. They've got a situation with their radiators which it looks like they are fixing - they had a temporary heater on when we were there.
The owner and his staff are friendly and very interesting to talk to.

Excellent meal at a very good price. Staff were friendly and welcoming. People have mentioned there are few veggie options - to be expected in a shwarma restaurant - but I ordered a delicious meal from the list of starters. Apricot soup (other choices are okra, courgette and bean soups), a large and tasty mixed salad, hummus, yoghurt and cucumber, and naan of course.

I would highly recommend Sara restaurant food is lovely and reasonably priced. Staff are so friendly and welcoming! Great with kids I will definitely be returning soon.

Lots of credit to the owners and staff. Kebabs are also a fan favourite but personally I would probably get a BBQ fish and chips . Chicken nuggets are also excellent for your kids to have . If your going single it would probably cost around 10 pound . However if your going with your family it could cost between 20 - 30 pound. Great

What an absolute treat fresh tasty and ample - Our first visit definitely won’t be our last. Lamb and Chicken Shish kebabs were excellent and the bread was made in front of us! I don’t say this lightly - It was splendid!

Delicious food! I would only encourage delivery service to be more active, some post codes in Newcastle is not reachable despite it’s pretty much near the centre, south Gateshead too is not reachable for delivery service!
